QUALIFICATION-Candidate must at least possess a Diploma in Corporate Administration Company Secretarial Practice or equivalent Preferred professional qualification Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Full or Part Proficient inMicrosoft Office Candidatemust havea minimum of 3 continuous years working experience for 1 employerhandling company secretarial work of advisory nature excluding routine statutory compliance work PREREQUISITES-TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and KNOWLEDGE APPLICATIONKnowledge in Malaysian company law namely the Companies Act 2016 the Companies Regulations Act 2017 requirements and Practice Notes and Directives issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia Ability to apply the abovesaid knowledge and provide technical advice ANALYTICAL READING SKILLAbility to understand technical contents of constitutions agreements resolutions and financial statements Ability to analyse and review the abovesaid contents Ability to analysing contents of statutory forms and statutory registers book COMPLIANCE PRACTICESAbility to prepare statutory forms prescribed under the Companies Act 2016 Ability to use MyCoID 2016 and MBRS TECHNICAL WRITING SKILLSAbility to draft written resolutions and minutes of meetings of Board of Directors and Members Shareholders respectively Ability to draft constitution of Sdn Bhd Companies Ability to draft agreements Ability to draft Board Meeting Papers proposals business plans and the like METICULOUS TASK PLANNING and REPORTINGAble to service multiple number of clients Able to meet a constant stream of deadlines Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of the Management i e by regularly monitoring progress of assignments and reporting the same to the Management Coordinating more complex assignments and initiatives with other staff members of the Corporate Services or and with the Accounting and Tax Departments SOFT SKILLSCommunication skills Verbal Communication and ndash what we say and how we say it Non-Verbal Communication and ndash what we communicate without words for example through body language or tone of voice andListening Skills and ndash how we interpret both the verbal and non-verbal messages sent by others Emotional intelligence and ndash being able to understand and manage your own and others and rsquo emotions Team-working and ndash being able to work with others in groups and teams both formal and informal Negotiation persuasion and influencing skills and ndash working with others to find a mutually agreeable Win Win outcome This may be considered a subset of communication but it is often treated separately Conflict resolution and mediation and ndash working with others to resolve interpersonal conflict and disagreements in a positive way which again may be considered a subset of communication Problem solving and decision-making and ndash working with others to identify define and solve problems which includes making decisions about the best course of action Supervising and training and mentoring junior staff members Dealing with submission of requisite documents to regulatory bodies andHandling correspondences and liaise with clients auditors regulatory bodies and other relevant parties
