Job Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & SelectionResponsible to manage recruitment functions which include sourcing, screening and placement of potential candidates according to the business requirements.To source for candidates according to job specifications and requirements with the objective of employing suitably qualified candidates within reasonable time-frame.To conduct screening interviews together with Hiring Manager / Department Head for all positions as and when required.Responsible to use the most efficient, cost-effective sources to fill job vacancies.Assist in manpower planning function.To issue On-The-Job-Training Form (OJT) to respective Head of Department (HOD).To partner with local universities / institutions for industrial training programmes.2. Industrial Relations To be involved in the preliminary round of investigation for any labour disputes or disciplinary cases and compile all supporting documents / evidence.To provide adequate counselling to employees if necessary.3. Learning and DevelopmentAdminister employee’s training application and update employee training record.To plan, organise and implement learning & development programmes for the employees.To coordinate the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) application and claims.To assist in conducting annual Training Needs Analysis.To plan the annual budget for training.To conduct orientation programmes for newly joined employees.4. Performance ManagementTo support the management in the implementation and administration of Performance Management System.To co-ordinate the performance appraisal process on an annual basis.To involve and keep track of Performance Improvement Plan.5. Expatriate ManagementTo provide advices to business managers and expatriates on matters pertaining to visa application and relocation arrangement.To provide liaison with Malaysia Immigration Department on matters concerning the employment of expatriates and visa application.6. Employee EngagementTo participate and co-ordinate survey work.To provide assistance, counselling, advice and guidance to employees on any problems affecting work.To organise staff activities or participate as a member of an organizing committee for staff related activities.7. Human Resources OperationsTo verify the calculations of employees’ monthly overtime claims.To verify employees’ monthly staff claims.To assist in compiling monthly reports.To attend to queries from employees.8. To perform all other work as and when assigned.9. To receive and act on any other instructions from the Manager, Human Resources and Administration or any other person so delegated by him / her.Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at leastDiploma / Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.At least (5) five years working experience in Human Resources and Administration.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and interact well with all levels of staff.High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail oriented, self-motivating team player.Good time management skills.Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department.Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.Must have an “Hands On” approach.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application.
