Job Description

PurposeTo support in managing a portfolio of Escrow & Account Bank.To closely work with Product, Countries, GBS, Technology, RM, TB Sales with a common objective of growing and supporting this business.To have full accountability for all facets of account administration from inception to termination.Responsibilities:Implement an Escrow Deal Lifecycle management tool – work closely with Technology & Operations team.Strengthen the Deal Management – Operating Model, by review / re-design / implement.Understand the business purpose and deal structure.Review and negotiate governing documents with internal counsel as neededInteract with Product / Legal / RM to negotiate escrow contracts in a proactive and professional manner, ensuring that the Operational risk is protected while also ensuring that the needs of the client with respect to responsiveness and timely closing are metIdentify and aggressively follow up on implementing all improvements (process or systems)Enable GBS / Country Ops team to be a “Centre of Excellence”.Support in transition/migration of Cash Escrow and Account Bank into Cash teams (GBS/country).Design and implement processes to support the product and related bespoke payment processing.Design and review the Department Operating Instructions (DOI) and relevant policies and instructions (as related to area of responsibility)Develop strong working relationships with Escrow product management, sales and Operations unitsLead and / or participate in special projects as necessaryKnowledge, Skills and Experiences:Cash Payments (Tech or Ops) experience is a must.About 3 to 5 years Work experience in Operations.About 3 to 5 years Work experience in Technology (Business Analyst / Project Management / Testing).Process Risk and Controls Acumen.Ability to understand and drive Technology initiatives.Post Graduates degree from a recognized university on Finance / Banking.10+ years of relevant work experience in Cash / Financial sector, preferably in Escrow.Knowledge / experience on Agile methodology.Nice to have:Knowledge of Escrow / Account Bank is preferred.Ability to design and implement Standard Operating Models (SOM).Able to handle training requirement.Project Management certification would be a merit.
