Compile and maintain a credible database of demand planning information at SAP APO system that is an integral part to generate accurate forecasts
Constantly analyses the past consumption data, current stock levels when comes to purchase planning to satisfy the service level, yet maintains inventory level per budget
Monitoring weekly purchasing forecast and order placement to ensure high forecast accuracies
Ensure close discussion and monitoring with continuous inputs from Sales and Marketing or Product Managers
Drive improvements within the demand planning process to contribute towards the achievement of the optimization of the process, customer service and supply chain efficiencies and inventory level
Responsible for optimum inventory that ensure the demand is able to fulfil in timely manner and the budgeted stock days are always kept
Responsible for inventory movement, stock planning and coordination of inventory counts and cycle counts
To conduct investigations on stock variance during daily activities and inventory count exercises
Work with Product Managers to ensure reduction in obsolescence level on finished goods and PADS
Shipping and Receiving
Manages shipping and receiving activities Coordinate with freight forwarder, ensure correct custom clearance requirement are followed and containers are clear and deliver to correct destination in timely manner
Maintain close discussion with Order Management team in terms of urgent order fulfilment and weekly container planning
Follow up on urgent shipment with Order Management team and freight forwarder where required
Responsible for applying and renewing the import permits for products that applicable to
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing or equivalent
Minimum 5 years relevant operational experience in demand and supply planning
Skillful in operating advanced Excel software
Knowledge on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Advanced Planners & Optimizer (APO) is an advantage
Possess strong interpersonal, analytical skills with high level of attention to details and strong in customer focus
Has good interpersonal skills and strong command of both written and spoken English
Salary:MYR 4,500 - 6,500
