Job Description

Position Objectives

Perform duties relating to SMT product, process and equipment support, especially programming-related tasksConsistently maintain overview, prioritize, execute and follow through assignments to assure work quality and schedule compliance

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop/maintain (including but not limited to) placement programming and component teaching and machine parameter setting, traceability parameters update operations of equipmentFor implemented programs, monitor quality to proper program performance and process efficiency and perform troubleshooting when neededInterpret component data sheet, product drawing, PCB Gerber files, drawings and engineering instructions when neededActively review quality data and implement process improvementsAssist in identifying and implementing new equipment, building layout and locating equipment and during the machine/line relocation/installationSupport in authoring work instructionParticipate in maintenance and spare part activities when neededCommunicate both written and verbal with colleagues, counterparts, customers when neededDocument clear, technically accurate work history and findings timely into related systemsProvide guidance to other team members when neededHandle machine, tools, products with necessary safety or ESD-controlled measures and with care to minimize wear and tear; ensure 5S complianceSupport department activities, reporting, problem solving/task force activities when neededPerform other tasks as required by superiors and act as proxy when necessary
