Job Description

Primary Objective
Manage and review manufacturing and delivery of IT application, change requests, internally and with SBU Engagement Manager to ensure the consistency and proper functioning of the application system and to meet Business needsAssist head in Solution Architect in Functional Areas (FA) to ensure the applications meets customer requirements and current standards are in place
Key Responsibilities

Applications Architecture
Manage planning/enhancement of Group IT solutions architectureManage development and control best-of-class applications development and management methodologiesApplication and Systems DevelopmentDevelopment of enterprise class applications and integration in line with Group IT solutions architectureQuality delivery of application-systems in collaboration with SBU Engagement Manager, Business Analysts and PMsEfficient Control delivery of application development projects (on time and within the budget)Management of IT application development functions (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)Operational efficiency of applications deliveryThird Party Software-Solutions ManagementControl the System Experts pool to facilitate efficient management of third party software and engagement with business usersManage quality delivery of third party software-solutions in collaboration with SBU Engagement Manager, Business Analysts and PMs (enterprise integration and in line with Group IT solutions architecture)Manage an efficient management of third party software enhancements (plan, organize, outsource management and monitor development projects according to set standards)Operational efficiency of third party software deliveryApplications Maintenance and SupportControl efficient and effective third and-or fourth level support for application
Team Member
Manage opportunities to improve / enhance existing systemsServices include application customization and integration, user training, installation, live implementation support and maintenanceApplication customization includes analysis of customization requests and writing of amendment/program specifications, designing, coding and testing of complex programsManage and resolve application issuesManage production system SLA

Requirements
Bachelor Degree - Computer Science/Mathematics/Information Technology>8 years leadership experience in system development and maintenance, managing IT support, application development for the banking industry or IT Shared Services5 years of experience in Microsoft/Java TechnologyStrong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem solving skillsThorough understanding of the IT landscape to support business processesOS/Dev Tools/Application Tools-XML, XSLT, Unix Script, awk/nawk Script, Linux, MS Visual Studio on NET, JavaScript, Windows Server, MS-DOS Experience in Windows Server, Shell Script and Unix platformDB-Oracle/SQL/MySQL/MSSQLProducts knowledge-Treasury such as Fixed Income, Equities, Money Market, Forex Exchange, Derivatives, DCI, Retails Structured Product, etc will be an added valueExperienced in term of Technical & Support-MUREX Treasury application system will be an added value, preferable to have thisFINIQ application system will be an added value, preferable to have thisINTELLIMATCH application system will be added valueTrained Agile software development practices – Scrum is an added advantageValue added for those knowledgable and experienced in Web Application Server/Services such as IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic or Red Hat JBoss
