Job Description

Key Activities

-Supporting WU Sales Team in South Asia in sourcing and collecting cost information for WU Projects
-Coordinate with the Sales Team to provide necessary documents from vendors to fulfill customer demand
-Negotiating vendors to ensure the project within targeted budget and timeline
-Negotiating vendors term of payment to get a good cashflow suitable for each project
-Be the user for SAP PS for procurement module
-Work with Sales Team to provide drawing and tender documentation according to specification for the Sales Team in tender submission when needed
-To understand and utilize the Group Project Management Tools for project implementations
-Coordinates with sub contractors to provide the customer with a seamless experience and to ensure all sub contractors have clear direction and understanding of requirements always
-Ensure the PO are delivered on time with the Project Schedule and to follow up with suppliers on the PO delivery progress and delivery date
-Monitors and controls the distribution of all project documents and records
-Maintains detailed records of all dates, drawings, documents and correspondence (both written and verbal) related to projects
-To collect all information from all Vendors for comparison and selection including technical documents, terms & conditions, and pricing
-Together with quality department and project team to do assessment of vendor capability according to Grundfos standard Make sure that the chosen vendor have the capability to send the required support with a good quality and result
-Perform any other related duties/assignments as and when directed by superior/s

-Degree or equivalent work experience, background in water utility business is advantage
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing, advantage if experience in WU Market
-Highly developed negotiation skills and ability to negotiate with vendors
-Experience in using SAP system or similar software, advantage if knowledge of SAP PS module / purchasing module
-Strong analytical capabilities in assessing vendors and selecting priority areas to maximize return for effort
-Equally comfortable in front of management from vendors / customers and internally as well as customer purchasers
