Job Description

What is the opportunity

Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/7 operations

This role is responsible to produce reports on FX derivatives daily transaction data within 24 hours of trades being placed It requires the individual to review and liaise with internal stakeholders, to produce daily transaction reports within agreed deadlines

You will be supporting Australia business with working hours 530AM to 230PM

What will you do
The Supervisor will report directly to the Manager/Senior Manager and is responsible for the daily BAU process and drives for quality and performanceThe Supervisor will provide feedback on the BAU performance of the teams to allow the Manager to conduct the necessary coaching/appraisal/discussion as requiredFirst escalation point for Oversight/Client and Fund Accountants in providing technical support and adviceManages capacity for Daily BAU and escalates when capacity is below optimal level Responsible for undertaking checking for 30% of the day and act as the backup checker in the absence of Senior Fund AccountantCommunicates process/procedures changes and any issues/errors encountered , as and when it happens Accountable to the accuracy and integrity of internal error log and identify trends for process improvementsEnsure the team meets all internal /external cut offs, escalate if in doubt immediately and Client reporting – provide day to day management of the R&IA function ensuring all deliverables are met in accordance with service level standards and agreements
What do you need to succeed

Experience in handling derivative and debt instruments in Funds industryStrong analytical skillProficient user of Microsoft Office – Excel, including macroAs a guideline to ensure a reasonable time is spent in a role, you are expected to have at least 18 months of service in your current role for any lateral move
Accounting and Trustee backgroundWillingness to take on new challenges, confident and self-motivated
