Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONIdentify and design the architecture of applications developed to support business needsPerform planning and scheduling of application development projectsManage the planning and design of data transfer data conversion migrationManage the development application testing unit testing SIT testing in accordance with the implementation plan Manage and support User Acceptance Test UATIdentify application development improvement opportunities and action plansManage initial solution support and maintenance according to changing business requirementsTroubleshooting application database and system issues reported by usersDaily production support and maintenance of the investment systems to ensure system availability and healthinessCarry out periodic system maintenance exercise e g Disaster recovery housekeeping health checksWork closely with business partner technology team Infrastructure Network Security Application and vendors in delivering solutions and system maintenance activitiesExamine application development and system maintenance best practices and implement best practicesImplement appropriate processes development standards and system improvements to improve system stability and performance Work closely with Strategy Planning and Architecture to define and implement application architecturePerform periodic project assessments reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standardsJOB REQUIREMENTSDegree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian governmentMinimum 3 years of experience in application development and support roleStrong user interface design skills usability analysis and experience with responsive design patterns and frameworks Experience in Integrating apps with enterprise backend systems Database MS SQL Server Oracle programming languages VB NET ASP NET HTML Java Script VB Script C Java and Crystal ReportStrong problem solving and analytical skillsFamiliar and experienced with Software Development Lifecycles SDLC Agile Software Development and Application Program Testing proceduresAbility to see a task through from assignment to completion with minimal supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and BMTeam player and willingness to learn and shareAble to work outside office hours when requiredExperience in banking industry or financial investment domain is an added advantageMalaysian citizen21 years old or abovePass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia SPM level or equivalent as recognized by the GovernmentJOB STATUSContractAll applications are strictly CONFIDENTIAL and only shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview Applications are deemed UNSUCCESSFUL if there is no feedback from the EPF 3 MONTHS after the closing date of advertisement
