Job Description

Location MalaysiaResponsible for the demonstration of Product Configuration Application and System Design for the RF Path components to key Sales and Key customer leads Responsible for creation and management of Applications Engineering function to service product marketplace and enhance CommScope and rsquo s technical leadership position with RF products Develop working relationships with senior level technical management and major CommScope customers to specify CommScope products and facilitate new product development and introduction including the collection of customer requirements and specifications for definition into new or existing product modifications Maintain expertise and market presence in network topology design and development Provide guidance to customers regarding cost effective and appropriate technology utilizing the breadth of CommScope products Working closely with local Sales leads develop sales strategies for advanced network solutions utilizing CommScope RF Products solutions such as Base Station Antennas TMAs and Combiners and cable portfolio products Liaise with engineering and product management to facilitate development of Road Maps and hybrid technologies where appropriate Manage Provide key technical responses to RFP s RFI s including the generation of required response data assist in the collection of all required inputs from Sales Engineering Product ManagementManage project opportunities specializing in design network performance and cost analysis Provide system design services to customer base utilizing external resources or internal staffing as appropriate Manage and support customer trials and IOTs including the development of Trial plans working with customer provided resources or assisting in sourcing required local resources for testing and data collection preparation and presentation of Trial Report and ultimate customer acceptance Provide a degree of customer support in the Application of Commscope products to end customers providing limited training to customer and subcontractors and evaluating customer field problems where they come upMaintain market leadership and presence in consistent production of trade articles white papers and technical presentations Provide leadership role at standards organizations and industry councils as appropriate Provide technical trends analysis in support of Global Marketing and Engineering Development Identify market drivers for the region and drive the product development and solutions to meet the local market requirements Assess local competitive environment seeking competition intelligence from local and global sources and providing feedback into regional and global strategy to counter competitive influences
