The Technical Support Engineering (TSE) Manageroversees the talented Technical Support Engineers in [Korea / ASEAN] Through deep knowledge of NI’s products, platforms and systems, TSEs anticipate technical needs to help customers maintain or accelerate their development schedule, building customer loyalty and NI’s reputation as a trusted technical partner The Technical Support Engineering Manager will play a critical role in building out and evolving the capabilities of the technical support organization Grow your career by

Key Responsibilities

People Focus

Attract, motivate and grow the Technical Support Engineering team by creating a work environment in which team members commit to the organization and its bottom line, while feeling pride and job ownership

Manage and develop staff’s individual performance; provide constant, personal positive and developmental feedback; conduct training

Potential opportunity for regional management, including managing teams across geography, language and culture

Ensure Customer Success

Ensure that support and services are delivered following our quality standards, including resource management, prioritizations and forward-investment in enabling engineers for support readiness

Coordinate with various stakeholders such as Product R&D, BUs and GTM Teams to establish long-term customer success and enable growth

Provide feedbacks, which are gained through supporting projects and programs at accounts, to product marketing and R&D organization

APAC and Global Support leadership responsibilities

Be an advocate to drive collaboration of the APAC support teams

Drive and actively participate in key initiatives in local, APAC and Global level

Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in APAC on continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, expanding team capabilities and drive customer success

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Customers’ technical success, measured by repeat business, as well as customer feedbacks through post-engagement survey

Building the team with clear focus and wealth of experience level, measured by overall team tenure and members’ job levels

Achievement of key sales objectives

Minimum 5-yearof relevant experience in relevant industry and/or role, with successful track record of ensuring customer success

Well-balanced mindset to achieve success of all stakeholders, namely employees, customers, partners and shareholders

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; in English and local language (minimum business level)

BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or similar degree, or equivalent experience

Broad range of experience working with customers, both pre- and post-sales

Experience in leading or mentoring teams, either with or without authority

Good comprehension of Corporate Products and Applications Strategy, Regional Sales and Support Strategy

Ability to foster teamwork by listening to the input of others, while balancing this with the ability to influence others where necessary, provide direction, and champion change

Experience in sales or marketing role in relevant industry

Experience of leading the successful organizational transformation / change management

Highly technical with knowledge of and experience with major NI products

Possess Certified LabVIEW Developer certification or above
