Directs, coordinates and supervises all Line Maintenance Technician/Engineer activities in production Line Participates in the preparation of maintenance programmes, investigating modification and new project proposals, examines equipment performance and provides recommendations to enhance maintainability and to minimize maintenance costs, ensuring that all maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently
Provides technical advice and guidance on all related Line maintenance works
Provides equipment training to develop maintenance technicians to achieve self-sustaining capability via GURU program
Performance monitors the performance and maintenance cost for various mechanical and workshop equipment includes providing recommendations to enhance maintainability, alleviate operations anomalies and minimize down timeEnsures that problem solving maintenance services are provided efficiently and expediently by subordinates To Keep enhancing equipment performance as per milestonesPrepares plan and lists for the required spare parts (foreign and local) for all machines/Hardware every year and executes the plan according to the approved budgetResponsible for manufacturing equipment failures, provide immediate repair and complete within reasonable period Responsible during and after repair with no quality impact, mechanical and electrical yields loss Mandatory follow up on WIP mechanical failure after resume production, complete documentation IF expected WIP impact on provided TT in RTI repair column, log root causes and corrective action into provided soft copy file located at maintenance PC Immediate highlight to supervisor for abnormalitiesForecast equipment spares and Support spares evaluations / approvals for parts used in equipmentHighlight abnormality to supervisor and follow up the action planAny other duties assigned from time to time
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics)At least7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this positionStrong management skill, aggressive, result oriented with the ability to work under pressure
