Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONSupport Trade Compliance Director in resolving and getting the clarifications from government sector (especially, Thai Customs Department, Commerce Ministry, Department of Foreign Trade, Thailand) in term of Trade Compliance issueObtain information, Screening and analyzing current status of the company towards the implementation of the new rules Thai Export Controls Act (the Trade Controls on Weapons of Mass Destruction or TCWMD Act)Support Trade Compliance Director in relaying all latest information related to Trade Compliance to all HOD at plant levelAssisting Trade Compliance Director to conduct a briefing session at plant level for the new inductionsPart of the team that responsible to develop a culture of Trade Compliance in the plantPrepare the training materials, presentation slides and training preparationsPreparing the material for Sanmina news letter and preparation of handoutMaintaining the updates in intranet for Trade Compliance sectionSupporting the team for all application for special benefit and approval by Thailand CustomsResponsible to practice the enforcement of Customs Regulations and new Thai Export Controls Act (the Trade Controls on Weapons of Mass Destruction or TCWMD Act)Responsible to perform a site checking and audit at all internal customers departmentDirects the team on issues analysis and preparing the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for all Trade Compliance Issues arose and follow by the counter measure listingWith the team to work out on the action plan for all RA (Risk Assessment) identified for Trade CompliancePreparation of monthly dashboard report for all activities within plants levelFollow instructions and directions from the superior (Director) for all the supports needed not limited to standard jobs description only

Requirement & Qualification
Must possess a Degree in any discipline Preferably, Logistics/ Supply Chain / Business AdminMinimum 5-7 years of working experience in field of Customs Affair, Logistics, Trade ComplianceSound knowledge of Thailand Customs rules, US rules EAR and new Thai Export Controls Act (the Trade Controls on Weapons of Mass Destruction or TCWMD Act)Have a hand on experience of dealing Thailand Customs, Commerce Ministry, Department of Foreign Trade, Thailand and other government agenciesExcellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsProfessional and independent with capability to work with minimum supervisionProof experience handling multi level of internal customers and external stakeholdersMeticulous, resourceful, strong analytical skills and able to work independently with sense of urgencyAble to work in a team and multi-functionalAdministrative and managerial skillsExperience in risk management and have knowledge of auditing and controls (will be added advantage)
