Job Description

This role is to plan, direct and monitor key account managers and sales executives whom they manage key partner accounts that account for a significant portion of the turnover and develop short term and long-term strategic business plans that will drive sales growth The role needs to maintain an accurate and healthy market-right sales forecast that meets the demands of the consumers This will be achieved by having a holistic understanding of market trends, a solid relationship with key partner accounts and executing trade initiatives to optimize sales opportunities

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESTo develop new channels for business opportunities and exploring potential through strategic planningEffectively planning, developing and implementing sales strategies, policies and best practices for overall trade sales business segmentTo establish strategic business relationship with retailers with win-win partnership in sustainable business modelResponsible in developing annual customer plan with retailers and departmental stores and maintaining effective trading relation with the designated key accountsIdentify customer needs and opportunities by analyzing sales gap and develop strategy to minimize or close gapTo develop the Key Account strategies and drive alignment on annually strategic plan and action planConduct joint business planning alignment & trading terms restructure negotiation and closureGathering, reviewing and analyzing of marketing & competitive information and trade visitGuide trade sales team on technical aspect of organization’s products, marketing campaign, sales promotion, sales techniques, procedures and standard to achieve sales targetConsistently monitor, measure and follow through all efforts of the appointed wholesalers to ensure trade matters are executed and trade opportunities are capturedProactively coordinate / facilitate meetings with other functions and customers with quarterly updates of strategic account initiativesProactively lead the alignment of sell in, sell through process and ensure right buy on managing healthy trading activity seasonallyEnsure the execution of promotion and other trade agreement with sales forcePerform any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalentAt least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this positionRequired language(s) Bahasa Malaysia and English Able to command in Mandarin and Cantonese would be an added advantageAble to perform strategic planning, organizing and provide proven sales track record focusing on growth achievementAble to comprehend with Retail Metric and fundamentals, provide proven excellent record and track in key account managementKeep abreast with latest market trends and development, with sound knowledge of competitors’ activitiesAble to build up effective trading relationship with current and potential business partnersPossess analytical skills and ability to understand consumer insightsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsApparel / fashion / footwear or FMCG with sports and account management exposure would be an added advantageExperienced with problem solving and resolving complex issuesAdvanced understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point would be an added advantageFamiliar in XERP would be an added advantageWilling to travel and possess own transportWilling to work in Damansara Heights
