About the Role Based in Rawang this role will mainly have the role of supporting the company and rsquo s importers both in South East Asia and or Pacific to ensure the successful implementation of their local marketing plans and analyse the market and competitive situation on a regional level APAC Responsibility This person should be in partnership with commercial team develop leverage and execute regional and local brand solutions to upscale importers sales teams to approach clients with relevant propositions Reports directly to the Marketing and Commercial teams of APAC Responsible for managing marketing related projects within APAC channels in collaboration with respective sales managers in each country Split roles for responsible markets - Australia New Zealand Korea and Japan - Malaysia Singapore Indonesia Vietnam Thailand Myanmar Philippines Cambodia and GuamTasks Work closely with Commercial Directors and importers of each market to understand their business and their priority of driving the company product as a brand Work closely with the Marketing Director and Brand Manager to develop effective programs and tools to support Commercial team and their importers drive sales volumes and market excellence Work with importers on yearly sales and marketing plans for the company and supporting them together with the Commercial team to drive business excellence with them Preferably experienced in bar coffee or premium retail channel as well as e-commerce experience will be added advantage Have proper understanding of target markets channels consumer behaviours trends within each market to plan and implement suitable programmes in each respective channels bar coffee retail to drive sales Work closely with market importers to plan and manage all campaigns across all channels are executed properly and supported with the right tools to ensure marketing excellence Manage branding guidelines to make sure that all creatives developed by importers are sent over for approval on the following platforms - Tradeshows studio booths - Print collaterals - Digital content - Event collaterals - PR and advertorialsReview of local markets and rsquo marketing plans with Commercial and Marketing team to make sure that it is aligned with the company Global and Asia and rsquo s marketing plan and direction Support market importers with the right tools and materials for regional and local organised events such as trainings tradeshows competitions influencer tours partnerships with bars and cafes etc Ensure that all marketing materials POSMs content tools and all related deliverables needed by importers and commercial team is delivered on time and in full Train and guide importers of responsible markets on brand guidelines with respective regional initiatives in line with the company business and brand direction Work with Commercial and Marketing teams closely to evaluate innovation plans within all product categories of the company and identify the right product mix for each market to drive sales according to the company and rsquo s portfolio within each market Responsible to conduct market visits across all countries responsible reviewing channels and product range and providing market and competitor and rsquo s analysis Develop monthly reports of each market and rsquo s activities and to share complied reports to all importers commercial teams and marketing teams across all regions of Asia to learn and share best practices amongst the group Analyse performance of each new product launch promotional co-branded program and derive learnings from it in collaboration with Brand Marketing and Sales teamsTo assist in factory and market visits of importers and their customers in Kuala Lumpur planning visit agenda closely and priority focus with commercial teamMust be willing to travel to responsible markets to understand communicate with importers and implement activation plans when necessary Requirements Applicants willing to work in Rawang Strong commercial outlook and marketing sense A strong team player who works well with everyone across departments Good command of English both written and spoken Ability to develop presentations and present ideas and plans well Good time and project management skills Good listener and proactive in their work to be hands-on on the job Positive attitude towards work and peers Good communication skills Minimum 5 years and rsquo experience in marketing sales trade fields within F and B HORECA and or Retail industry
