Job Description

The role will have responsibility for managing the organisation’s liquidity risks, financial risks, working capital and supporting management and business units

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement cash management operational strategies

Understand the different funding structures for each villa

Reconciling Client Trust Accounts with The General Ledger

Ensure funds are always available to meet liabilities as they fall due

Monitor daily project liquidity

Reconcile payment allocation ensuring paid from the correct project account

Manage relationships and interfacing with all areas of the business both onshore and offshore, including exposure to senior management

Understand the impacts of any cash control measures and targets on the wider business

Provide regular reporting to management on cash forecasts and any variances

Ensure all internal & external stakeholders are fully informed of the company’s cash strategies

Prepare weekly reporting of cash flows and provide commentary vs Forecast

Good working knowledge of AP/AR

Statutory reporting and submissions

Analysing key metrics and ad-hoc reporting

Month end close process activities

Required Experience

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent

Required language(s)English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia

At least 5Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Preferably Manager specialized in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent

Good MS Office Word and Excel knowledge

Accounting systems experience

Problem solving ability

Excellent verbal and communication skills

Highly organised
